1. Ganacsato in short

Ganacsato is a free directory of Somali-community businesses around the world. Anyone can browse it without an account. With an account, you can leave reviews, save favourites, suggest a business and claim its listing.

2. Who runs Ganacsato

Ganacsato is operated by the company Ganacsato.

3. Your account

You must be at least 16, give accurate information and have only one account.

You are responsible for what is done with your account. If you think someone else is using it, write to us.

You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to us.

4. Reviews

A review describes a real and recent experience with the business. Each person leaves only one review per business.

Not allowed: insults, hateful or discriminatory remarks, threats, other people’s personal information, advertising, fake reviews, reviews of your own business or a competitor’s, and reviews written in exchange for a gift, a discount or money.

Reviews appear right away, after a filter against spam and insults. Anyone can report a review. We may remove a review that breaks these rules.

You remain the author of your reviews and photos. You allow us, free of charge, to display them on Ganacsato, on the site and in its apps, for as long as they are published.

5. Business owners

The owner of a business can claim its listing by proving that the business is theirs. They are responsible for the information they publish there.

It is forbidden to offer a gift, a discount or money in exchange for a review, to ask for a negative review to be hidden, or to write or have someone write fake reviews. If these rules are broken, we may withdraw the claim and flag the listing to visitors.

6. The Pro plan

The Pro plan is paid. Its price and terms are shown before any payment. It highlights the listing, adds photos, a logo and statistics, and lets the owner reply to reviews. It never changes the rating, the order of reviews or what is published.

7. Suggesting a business

Anyone can suggest a business. We check every suggestion before publishing it, and we may reject or correct it.

8. What belongs to Ganacsato

The Ganacsato name, logo, design and code belong to us. You may not copy the site or its data in bulk, for example with a bot, without our written permission.

9. Liability

We check every listing before publishing it, but not the facts described in reviews, which are the sole responsibility of their authors. A business’s information, such as its opening hours or prices, can change: check with the business before you go.

Ganacsato is not a party to purchases or services between you and a business.

Our liability is limited to what the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law guarantees you.

10. Suspension

If you do not follow these terms, we may remove your content, suspend or close your account. Except in an emergency or a case of serious abuse, we warn you first.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. The new version is published on this page with its date. For an important change, we let you know in advance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence. If there is a disagreement, write to us first: we will look for a solution with you.
